We park and cut the lights in neighbors driveways
We wait until you're gone
The first time through we get the TV
And the second time we get caught

See officer it started when I was 14
I could not turn out the light
The first time I caved and I felt guilty
But the second time I felt alright

It was not 5 more years until it worsened
There are some things I can't discuss
Well, the first time I hit her I was invincible
And the second time was all i got

Two days before now I was dying in bed
Looking at sex pictures on my phone
The first picture I will never forget
And the second one taught me how to love myself

Now officer what do you think of me
You know I love to be the center of attention
On first thought I seem to be a real bad guy
But on second thought you sense a misdirection
For that split second before the truth sets in
I throw my hands around your neck and i start squeezin'
I squeezed until your blue eyes gave out
And started running to the nearest store

Once inside the flashing 7-11
I coughed up $20 for a rifle
The first bullet took the cashier out
Then the second took me 15 days

So I hitched a ride up to a sweet motel
Once inside I had a dream that took 10 hours (*336 hours)
The first part took me to Atlantis
And the second warned me to a coming threat

Two knocks awoke me from my childish slumber
I grabbed the rifle and I loaded up
First thing he says is that "I'm the policeman"
and the second thing he says with love

"Its rare that someone gets the best of me"
"You've almost got my respect"
And "first thing tomorrow meet me in Townes Square"
"I'm gonna give your soul a second chance"

So I was there right as the sun did rise
My polished shooter and a new white shirt
Well, the first thing I noticed is there was 500 people there
And in seconds I would meet my match

Just like an angel he's a heavenly man
His wounds had healed up in an instant
I shot the first and hit his strong left leg
On second breath he blew my red head "bye!"

Now you may wonder how I tell this tale
If in the duel I surely died
Well I wrote this story in two versions at the motel
And this is the only one that survived

So as the viewer theres no way you can tell
How the true story went

By the way the cop was fine because he was a robot
So he could not be choked or shot or killed
Because he was electronic and made of strong metal
